QUANT. ANALYSIS OF CADIMIUM AND LEAD IN SOLUTIONS&SALTS BY X-RAY FLUORESENCE.

Abstract

This paper presents the posibility to determine the concentratio of lead and cadimium ions in waste industrial water and salts by X-ray fluoresence technique where the lead and cadimium ions in solution are precipitated as lead and cadimium sulfides then loaded on Bentonite powder., while for salt samples the salt dissolved in water first then treated as water samples. The loaded bentonite powder was mixed boric acid (2:1) ratio. And analyzed for cadimium and lead by X.ray fluoresence using external standard method.
