PRIMARY NOMINATED AREAS OF FILL OF INDUSTRIAL WASTES IN IRAQ (FIRST STAGE) .

Abstract

This study aim to a primary investigation of the Iraqi land in order to estimate the environmental forbidden areas and separate the primary areas for industrial wastes fill This study depends on the office work which is available in the state company of Geological survey and mining archives. And it was applied in three steps: The first step represents collecting all the geological , hydrogeological and weather data granted for the country. The second step represents dividing the country into five physiographical segments in order to sign the environmental forbidden areas on it depending on the available data on the map with scale 1:1000 000.
