DATA BASES FOR NORTH HUSSAINIYAT KARSTS .

Abstract

Data obtained from the Investigation Project for Bauxite and Flint for North Hussianiyat Karsts, have been used in constructing four databases viz, Chemical Analysis Database for Bauxite Project, Database of Bauxite Project Wells, Chemical Analysis Database for Flint Project and Database of Flint Project Wells.These databases have been prepared under Windows 98 and the use of FoxPro 2.6 \ Windows. Details of the data used in every database have been conveyed. Problems Facing the construction of these databases and the way these databases have been designed, based on the compatibility of data and the non-repetition of the basic fields in more than one record, have been discussed. Moreover, entry into any of these databases is not allowed without a Password. Data entry and Processing have been discussed. Chosen records with Particular Conditions can be produced as reports including the required fields. In additions these databases can be linked with other Program System to Simulate data in the form of contour maps, 3-D representations or to process it statistically and recalculate ore reserves .An index for the computer files can be produced and another for names of areas and Karsts entered.
