| الملخص | Cement rotary kilns are lined with basic bricks in the sintering zone and the transition zones. The main reason for the use of basic bricks has to been seen in high temperatures, mechanical stress and chemical attacks, which are prevailing in cement rotary kilns. The refractories have to cope with all these kinds of stress, but also have increasingly to fulfill environmental needs. Tremendous efforts have been made by refractory suppliers, like Veitsch-Radex, in order to eliminate chrome in refractories. The result of the R/D-activities is a series of remarkable refractories , which are beig introduced in this paper. | |
