الملخص | This study was carried out to test the solubility of calcium sulfate (hydrate and anhydrite) in sulfuric acid solution at various concentrations (20, 50 and 80) wt.%, the effect of temperatures at (20,60, and 80) ºC, solid/liquid ratio was investigated at variant ratios (1:2,1:3, and1:4) and different residence time (30,45, and 60) minute.
In the presence of sulfuric acid, the solubility of gypsum system is influenced by temperature more obviously than in the CaSO4 + H2O system which increasing monotonously with temperature. The solubility of anhydrite was generally lower than dihydrate (gypsum) in sulfuric acid solutions. | |
