| الملخص | A veterinary preparation for internal use using doxycycline and multivitamins treat complications of gumboro disease, which is a severe acute viral infection affecting young chickens. It is used as a supplement to animal feed and prevent diseases affecting poultry. Medicinal preparation was prepared from antibiotic, vitamins and carbohydrates were used in formulation. A number of evaluation criteria, including pH, solubility, moisture content, homogeneity of drug content, and antibacterial activity were applied to prepared formulation. This process included several stages of collecting information for the materials included in formulation, including active and additive materials, and preparing formulation according to international pharmaceutical specifications using pharmacopoeia, pH was studied for a period of two weeks at room temperature, and stability was studied by placing formulation in ovens at temperatures of 40, 30, 25 °C and 65% relative humidity for three months and was examined with an HPLC device. The pH range of the prepared doxycycline hyclate powder was from 2.6 to 4.5. Effectiveness was within permissible limits in Veterinary Pharmacopoeia, which ranges within acceptable levels from 102% to 101.94%. Through results, stability of substance in the prepared medicinal formulation was revealed, noting that effectiveness is within permissible limits in Veterinary Pharmacopoeia, which ranges between 90-110%.
