Membrane technologies play a significant role in water treatment. The work aims to evaluate the performance of polyethersufone membrane to remove pollutants from waste water. In this study, the selected dyes were methyl red (MR), methyl blue (MB), and methyl violet (MV) as pollutants. In which, the adsorption tendency and removal performance of these dyes has been investigated using hollow fiber (HF) membrane. Membrane flux exhibited linear increment with trans membrane pressure (TMP) . The adsorption tendency and rejection performance was performed at (1 ppm) of dyes solution . The solution concentration has been measured using UV-visible and the membrane surface was characterize using (FTIR) analysis. It was shown that the adsorption of MR is lower than that of (MV) and (MB) dyes. Also, MR shows (100 %) removal at TMP of less than (1.5 bar). The study suggests that the selected HF membrane could be used to filter low concentration of the selected dyes solutions.
